Manage and overcome mental health and emotional challenges to enhance your well-being

What is Clinical Psychology?

Clinical psychology focuses on assessing, diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental health issues and emotional disorders in individuals. Here at Arizona Center for Neurofeedback our team are trained professionals who work in various settings, including private practices, hospitals, clinics, and mental health organizations.

Our goal is to help people manage and overcome psychological challenges to enhance their overall well-being. Dr. Petta started her career as a clinical psychologist, and continues to offer services to individuals of all ages. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults.

What Makes a Client a Good Fit?

Clients who tend to get the most out of working with our team are those who are motivated to seek meaningful change and are willing to actively participate in the treatment process. This doesn’t mean you need to have everything figured out, it simply means you’re open, curious, and committed to improving your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Our work is most effective when therapy is viewed as a collaborative partnership. Rather than a passive experience, treatment involves shared goal-setting, honest communication, and a willingness to apply insights and tools both in and outside of sessions. Progress often comes from small, consistent steps taken over time, and we support you through each phase of that process.

At our center, we thrive on helping clients achieve clarity, resilience, and lasting change. Under the guidance of Dr. Lorene Petta, we work closely with each client to understand their unique challenges, align treatment with personal goals, and create a plan that supports sustainable growth. When therapist and client work together with intention and trust, therapy becomes a powerful vehicle for transformation.
