Meet Jake Land

Jake Land works with performers of all ages, including collegiate athletes, business executives, individuals in the classroom, and those in the performing arts. His mission is to help individuals develop the mental skills required to perform consistently under pressure and thrive in demanding environments.

As a Sport Psychology graduate student at Arizona State University, Jake works closely with ASU Athletics, supporting athletes as they navigate the cognitive, emotional, and performance demands of high-level competition.

A former three-year collegiate baseball team captain, Jake brings firsthand experience in leadership, team dynamics, and elite performance culture. His lived athletic background allows him to connect authentically with performers while translating sport psychology principles into practical, actionable strategies that improve focus, confidence, resilience, and consistency.

Jake has spent the past year working with peak performers at the Arizona Center for Neurofeedback, and collegiate athletics at Arizona State University, supporting students, athletes and high level executives across a wide range of sports and performance domains. His work focuses on strengthening mental skills essential for leadership, consistency, and performance in high-pressure competitive environments.

In addition, Jake has extensive applied experience across performance and developmental settings. He has served as a Life Skills Behavior Specialist, where he designed and implemented individualized programs for children with autism, supporting emotional regulation, behavioral awareness, and foundational skill development. Alongside this work, Jake has coached competitive baseball within top showcase programs, helping athletes pursue collegiate and professional opportunities. 

This breadth of experience allows Jake to adapt mental performance strategies to the unique cognitive, emotional, and developmental needs of each individual, regardless of age or performance arena.

Jake specializes in mental conditioning, performance optimization, and the mind-body connection. He integrates evidence-based sport psychology research with lived athletic experience to help individuals:

His mission is to help individuals develop the mental tools needed to perform with consistency, confidence, and purpose, especially when it matters most.

Jake is a black belt in Taekwondo, blending discipline, athleticism, and competitive experience into his work with performers.

Outside of performance work, Jake loves staying active and going on adventures, whether that’s hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, swimming, weightlifting, golfing, playing pickleball, or traveling. He is always up for something new and believes that curiosity, challenge, and exploration are essential to both personal growth and peak performance.
